From there, there are a number of tests your doctor may conduct in order to make sure you don’t develop cervical cancer.
One such method will be for the doctor to carry out a DNA test. This will help them to determine whether a woman with abnormal pap smear results has any abnormalities in their DNA, likewise, which may suggest or indicate cancerous or precancerous tissues.
